City transformation begins with the biblical mandate: "Seek the welfare of the city to which I have sent you in exile and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your own welfare."  (Jeremiah 29.7)

Strong cities need strong churches. Churches only thrive as we are transformed to live out God’s Word in our neighborhoods. We exist in and for the places God has placed us, rooted in the soil of our communities. We affirm Scripture’s teachings to love both God and neighbor and to live a radical faith in Jesus. Together – reconciled and in unity – we are the church and by God’s grace a vital part in the life of our communities.

To transform a city, Christian leaders from both the church and the civic sectors must join together in worship, Spirit-led prayer, Scripture engagement, generosity with our resources, and deep friendship in order to collaborate in humility and so address brokenness and biblical justice in the hard places places of our city.
